Caring for someone with dementia can be exhausting and isolating. Sometimes it can be hard to talk about these feelings with others, but Dementia Advisors are just a phone call away, to offer emotional support, practical advice and to reassure carers when things get tough.
Could fund a Community Dementia Advisor for the day.
Community Dementia Advisors provide face- to- face support for families facing complex challenges. Whether they’re supporting someone living with dementia, a carer, or an entire family, this support is invaluable when it comes to navigating the maze of dementia.
Could fund one singing for the brain session.
Singing for the Brain can bring a wealth of benefits to participants. From expressing themselves through their favourite songs, to getting some gentle exercise through dance, it’s a great way to spend time. A good session can leave people feeling uplifted long after the final notes are played, and give people something to look forward to.
Personalised pages raise 60% more, so make sure you explain a bit about why you’re taking on your challenge.
Pages with a target raise a whopping 75% more than pages without one – it’s a no-brainer.
